Venue:  Malaysia
Date:    13-16 June 2022
The pandemic has proved the importance of Shared Services, and the demand for Shared Services is rising. Malaysia remains a lucrative location for businesses to set up their Shared Services Centres (SSCs), and Malaysia is expected to grow its Global Business Services (GBS) market size to US$1.5 billion (RM6.15 billion) by the end of 2024. The government is committed to improving digital infrastructure and providing a pipeline of digitally ready workforce allows Malaysia to reinvent itself as the preferred location for high-value GBS such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Analysis, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data-led processing and Cybersecurity.
As Malaysia’s Shared Services industry and its core markets continue to grow, Shared Services and GBS leaders are reinventing their digital infrastructure, expanding into providing high-value services and delivering enhanced service experience through service optimisation and automation. However, the challenge lies in driving the complexity of a comprehensive transformation and digitisation strategy while still navigating the Future of Work (FoW) as Malaysia adapts to an endemic situation.
