Mission of ON Semiconductor Vietnam
We aim to be the Power Package Center of Excellence. We will deliver benchmark quality, cost effective products on time with industry leading performance. We have one stop solution for New Product Development from Lab Test, Product Engineering, and Supply Chain management for our customer. It is due to this competitive advantage that enable us to complete the product development and launching of Smart Passive Sensor (SPS) with a record timing of 6 months. For 2019 and beyond, we will focus on 4 Wall Full Loading Strategy, Product Transfer and New Product Technology.

We have well diversified monthly employee engagement activities to create a “touching employee heart” culture, with employee oriented and happy workplace such as Women Leadership Conference, Diversity & Inclusion Programs, Health Talk, Employee Birthday Celebration, Movie Month, Valentine Celebration, International Women’s Day Celebration, Children Day, Mother & Father Day, Selfie Contest, Football Competition, Christmas Celebration and grand year ended party.

We have comprehensive training to cover both soft skills and technical skills to uplift our core competence in technical advancement for both the operations and supporting function staff. Besides yearly soft skill training, ON Semiconductor Vietnam has launched the Lean Six Sigma Back Belt project as one of our pillars towards Total Quality Management.
Continuous Improvement Team, Subject Matter Experts, together with Engineer Rotation Program will be aligned with the Technical Ladder for employees to move along their career path. This will significantly streamline the depth of technical resources to ensure our technical staff are being supported as they enhanced their equipment & production process technical knowhow. This development will move ON Semiconductor closer towards our target to be the Power Package Center of Excellence.
For the 2017 Global Employee Engagement Survey conducted by National Business Research Institute (NBRI) in US, both facilities in Vietnam scored at the high end among the average score of all other manufacturing facilities worldwide.
