Media and information firm Thomson Reuters announced that it now offers health insurance benefits to Philippine employees’ partners, whether of the same or opposite sex. The company said it brought its Domestic Partners Eligibility Policy to its Philippine unit. This is the first time it offered the policy in Asia. The policy was first implemented in its US and UK offices. Under the policy, single employees in committed relationships may enrol their partners as beneficiaries of insurance and retirement plans.
