Singapore is still lagging behind when it comes to representation in the workforce, especially in its senior levels. Though gender parity has been achieved at junior and middle levels, senior levels are only at 34%, with the overall percentage of Singapore’s women in the workforce standing at 48.2%. “Women are key to the growth and sustainability for our business as well as the countries in which our business operates,” said Ralph de Chabert, chief diversity officer at Brown-Forman. Malaysia scored highest in the region (58.1%), followed by China (56.7%) and Hong Kong (50.9%).
