A survey by global human resource company Randstad was conducted among 150 companies with more than 1,000 employees each, based its results on what the respondents looked for in choosing an employer in terms of salaries, job security, work-life balance, career progression and other such factors. The study found that employees in India prefer a competitive salary and related benefits over career progression. The respondents also said they weighed employee benefits, long-term job security, a company’s financial health, work-life balance and working atmosphere as top criteria when choosing an employer.
