Petronas has again ranked highest in LinkedIn’s Top Companies in Malaysia, which is a list of the top 15 companies which offer the best opportunities to grow a career. This is the second annual ranking by the social network site for working professionals, and the second time the national petroleum company earned the top position. The Top Company 2022 is based on evaluation done throughout the preceding year.
Petronas’ achievement is followed by Maybank, Bosch, Permodalan Nasional, B. Braun Group, Standard Chartered Bank, Prudential, Intel, Shell, IBM, Tenaga Nasional, Maxis, RHB Bank, Hong Leong Bank, and OCBC Bank.
LinkedIn used unique data which assess seven main criteria: ability to advance, skills growth, company stability, external opportunity, company affinity, gender diversity, and spread of educational backgrounds.
Companies in the list must also have at least 500 employees and an attrition rate of no more than 10 per cent over the data compiling period. Data from subsidiaries are collated together with the parent company’s score.

LinkedIn ranks the Top Companies in various countries, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, France, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, Philippines, South Africa, the U.K., and the U.S.
