Malaysia UAV Alliance Association (MUVA): MUVA’s dedication to advancing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technologies aligns seamlessly with Mega Aerospace Centre’s commitment to exploring cutting-edge solutions for the unmanned aerial vehicle-associated technologies especially in the area of talent research, innovation and development of agriculture.
KKIP Aerospace is managed by Mega Aerospace Centre Sdn. Bhd (MACSB) and is certified Part 147 as an Approved Training Organisation by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) located in Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP).
The aviation and aerospace industry is growing at a very fast rate post-pandemic with the arrival of next-generation aircraft making its way into most major airlines, transport and general operational outfits.
MACSB as a sole approved training organisation by competent authorities in Sabah focuses on the growth of human capital development to ensure that the state is ready to undertake the profile responsibilities in the aviation and aerospace industries including the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) for both airframes and components.
As such the collaboration between MACSB and these five exceptional entities extends beyond technological innovation; it also underscores a commitment to workforce emerging development.
By harnessing the collective expertise and resources of these organisations, the partnership aims to fortify the skills and capabilities of the aviation workforce in Sabah and elsewhere within Malaysia to be in line with Malaysia Aerospace Blueprint 2030 as an effective enabler.
These MoU signings are in alignment with the Sabah Maju Jaya development plan from 2021-2025, also known as Modal Insan & Kesejahteraan Rakyat. This initiative emphasises the importance of human capital development and the well-being of the people.
By collaborating with SHRDC and other leading human resource providers, MACSB contributes to the development of highly skilled manpower in line with the plan’s objectives.
In order to position itself as a global human resource provider in the aerospace industry, MACSB has inked a memorandum of understanding with Acrats and its strategic partner. Acrats is a worldwide-known aircraft structures training provider based in the Netherlands.
Additionally, a collaboration with MRO Subang will facilitate the intention of MACSB to provide an accelerated technician program for trainees who are ever ready to elevate their competencies to be on par with international standards.
Malaysia UAV Alliance Association (MUVA) as a strategic partner to explore new insights of drone could play a pivotal role for MACSB ventures into comprehensive training which is not limited to remote control and maintenance but also participating in finding alternative but effective agriculture technology, also known as “agritech” solutions.
Mega Aerospace Centre’s visionary collaboration with these five exceptional entities underlines the commitment to excellence and progress of talent research, innovation and development in the strategic industries, particularly aviation and aerospace.
