Skill Forward Solutions Sdn. Bhd. has launched the Industry 4.0 Architect Certification Programme to empower local workforce with essential Industry 4.0 planning, blueprinting and implementing skills and knowledge. In collaboration with NCT Group of Companies and OMIS Consulting Sdn Bhd, it is poised to become a signature programme under the Human Resource Development Corp.
Skill Forward executive director Dr Lee Wah Pheng said the programme marked a pivotal moment in NCT’s journey as the company continues to embrace the ongoing wave of digitalisation in the Fourth Industrial Revolution era. “The Industry 4.0 Architect, as a digital champion of any business organisation, will be able to help the company to increase the success rate in digital transformation, thereby contributing significantly to the nation’s economy growth,” said Lee in a statement. The contents of the 10 modules in the programme were created based on the Reference Architectural Model Industrie 4.0, 19 IEC/ISO Standards and 48 published technical papers and reports mainly from Germany.
NCT Group founder and group managing director Datuk Seri Yap Ngan Choy said the company remains committed to nurturing talent, fostering innovation and building a workforce that is at the forefront of shaping its future. “We are confident the programme will have a positive impact on Malaysia’s workforce and industries alike,” he added. The programme receives major recognitions by local and international bodies.
“This new Industry 4.0 Architect Certification Programme is very timely to address the digitalisation challenges and reduce the risk of failure for the manufacturing companies when embracing Industry 4.0,” said Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers vice president Jacob Lee.
