China fired back after FBI Director James Comey said that Chinese hacking cost the United States economy billions of dollars every year. China has denied any wrongdoing, and accused the U.S. of faking facts. Tensions between the two countries increased with charges over hacking and internet spying. In May, the United States charged five Chinese military officers with hacking into U.S. companies.
