Heng Sour, minister of labour and vocational training, Park Jung Wook, South Korean ambassador to Cambodia

The ministry of labour and vocational Training and South Korea’s HD Hyundai Heavy Industries has decided to establish human resource development cooperation in Cambodia in the heavy industry sector.

The decision was made during a tripartite meeting between Heng Sour, minister of labour and vocational training, Park Jung Wook, South Korean ambassador to Cambodia, and Kim Dong IL, deputy general director of HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, which mainly produces ships and large vessels in South Korea.

During the discussion held at the ministry of labour and vocational training, all parties agreed to train Cambodians to have knowledge of the heavy industry in the potential shipbuilding and shipbuilding chain.

In this cordial discussion, the Minister thanked the Government of the Republic of Korea and the company for providing this training to the Cambodian people to have skills in this heavy industry.

At the same time, the Ministry is ready to support companies in training this skill in Cambodia to be successful.

For the South Korean ambassador, this training cooperation will be an important support point that will further deepen the ties between the two countries, both economically and as a friendship between the two peoples.
