Overview
On 4th April 2016, the Government passed the Companies Bill 2015 which seeks to make an impact in improving internal controls, governance and corporate responsibility. The Companies Bill 2015 aims to replace the Companies Act 1965 which was enforced since 1966.
In view of the importance of the subject matter, this seminar aims at disseminating information on overview of the Companies Bill 2015, and to deliberate and solicit feedbacks on the impact of this new Company Law to businesses. Topics to be discussed include “Share Capital and Capital Maintenance” and “Director’s Duties” provisions in the Companies Bill 2015.
