He said growing the country’s economy was a vital part of his government’s Plan for Change framework. Starmer said this in a brief post on X after meeting Malaysia’s Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in London last week. Starmer said they discussed new investment from Malaysian businesses into the UK which will create 30,000 jobs and build new homes.
