Malaysia will conduct a study on the impact of artificial intelligence, digitalisation and the green economy on the country’s job market. Human Resources Minister, Steven Sim said the study would be conducted by TalentCorp and the first interim report was expected to be ready in six months. He added that the findings would provide a framework not just for the government but also for companies and the workforce as well as to prepare for the 21st century economic landscape. He said this will provide a picture of what kinds of jobs will remain or may be replaced and what new jobs will be created.
