Kimberly-Clark Hong Kong office was established in 1996 and soon become the market leader in the categories of Feminine Care, Baby and Child Care, and Family Care through the household beloved brands including Kotex, Huggies, Kleenex, Andrex and Scott, etc.

It’s not easy to win in the competitive battlefield of consumer packaged goods, and it’s even more challenging to keep winning for more than a century. However, with the collected winning mindsets embedded in our people, Kimberly-Clark remains at the top in Hong Kong and many other markets around the world.
People are the key. In 2011, Kimberly-Clark developed its unique “People Philosophy” consisting seven career elements of Welcome, Dream, Grow, Win, Celebrate, Live Well and Give Back to foster an environment where employees are inspired to be bold, set ambitious career goals, take on new experiences and continuously grow in a dynamic workplace ever since they joined the company.
Under the “People Philosophy”, we put a lot of efforts in driving winning mindsets through continuous learning culture. We built an online learning resources center called My KCU (K-C Online University). It offered more than 5,000 courses with a wide variety of topics included Career Development, Influence, Communications, Change Management and Leadership Effectiveness, etc.
The leadership team in Hong Kong also designed a wide range of learning and development activities, such as lunch & learn, quarterly offsite meeting, job rotation, etc., to unleash the potentials of employees and create a positive workplace atmosphere.
EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT
At Kimberly-Clark, we are always pushing ourselves to be the great place to work where employees are inspired to reach their full potentials. Every two years, Kimberly-Clark works with a third-party agency to conduct corporate-wide “Input to Actions Employee Survey” and use it to create meaningful action plans that address concerns raised by employees.
We also build multiple communication channels such as Town Hall Meeting, Department Meeting to encourage healthy dialogues in the workplace and collect authentic feedback from employees.
In the spirit of continuous improvement and enhancing sense of inclusiveness, we formed a task force called GROW (Go Rock Our Workplace) to ignite diversified ideas of boosting employee engagement. The task force meets regularly and organizes various employee activities including Bring Your Kids to Work, Sport Day, etc.
