In order for Novartis Vietnam to build a sustainable working environment, we focus on four factors:
- Firstly, we prioritize creating a healthy, mutually supportive working environment, where all employees have the psychological safety to openly share their thoughts and contribute to the development of the company. We also have policies and mechanisms to protect that.
- Second, Novartis sets very high standards for compliance and ethics. We use a code of conduct and ethical principles to guide all of our company's operations and the work of all of our employees.
- Third, on the environment, Novartis is also one of the companies committed to reducing environmental impact. Globally, over the past 8 years, we have recorded 40-60% reduction in emissions, waste into the environment, as well as saving water. In Vietnam, we are also consistent with that strategy and for many years we have stopped using single-use plastic. We also reduce the printing of documents and advertising publications and instead use digital platforms to protect the environment.
- And finally, maintaining its commitment to social responsibility, Novartis also continuously builds philanthropic programs with the participation of both the company and employees to support less fortunate communities.
