Holistic Sustainability Approach

Our sustainability efforts align with nine of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We operate in accordance with local regulations while adhering to global standards, including the IFC Performance Standards, ILO Core Conventions, and the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This holistic approach ensures that our business practices promote sustainability on all fronts—environmentally, socially, and economically.

Central to our operations is a commitment to decarbonization. Our renewable energy portfolio, comprising six operating solar and wind projects in the Philippines, plays a pivotal role in reducing the nation’s carbon footprint. We also implement responsible design and construction practices to minimize our environmental impact, promoting resource efficiency and waste reduction in support of a circular economy.

Community and Environmental Initiatives

Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond our projects and offices, reaching the communities we serve. In Cadiz City, where one of Vena Energy’s solar projects is located, we have built Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) facilities for 10 children's development centers. This initiative benefits over 800 children and promotes better health practices, improving community well-being.

In Ilocos Norte, our partnership with The Mead Foundation showcases our dedication to environmental conservation. Through the Pawikan hatchery initiative, we’ve successfully rescued and hatched over 1,000 sea turtle eggs, releasing 724 baby turtles back into the ocean. This project highlights our commitment to preserving biodiversity and protecting local ecosystems.
