MDC’s new Vision and Mission highlight the important role its employees, partners, and stakeholders play in driving sustainable business growth and success.
To energize, engage, and empower our Community of World-Class Builders, MDC developed a new Employee Value Proposition based on the pillars of (1) an Enriching Career, (2) Attractive Benefits and Rewards, (3) Sense of Community and Fulfilment, (4) Safe and Dynamic Workplace, (5) Concern for Health and Well-being, and (6) Energizing Culture. From talent attraction to compensation and rewards, to learning and employee engagement – all people programs were aligned with the new EVP, allowing MDC to care for its people better and deliver the best business results. MDC’s people programs are being implemented across the organization, from leadership to our skilled workers, ensuring an inclusive and impactful campaign.
We are honored to once again be recognized by HR Asia for MDC's commitment to its Community of World-Class Builders. We are also excited to receive MDC's first Diversity, Equity, and Inclusions award. Through our Employee Value Proposition and initiatives such as GREATogether, MDC will continue to provide inclusive, engaging, and meaningful HR programs that will elevate our people and the business.

Recognizing the diversity of our community, MDC launched the GREATogether campaign to strengthen the company’s EVP, provide inclusive workplace experiences, increase productivity, reduce turnover, and attract top talents. The campaign revolves around the values of Gratitude, Respect, Empathy, Awareness, and Togetherness, and aims to make MDC a safe space where everyone can thrive and become the best versions of themselves.
The campaign was launched through an extensive communications and engagement campaign which included email blast announcements, videos, GREATogether merch, office artwork installations, and employee engagement programs.
To raise awareness, training sessions on various DEI-related topics are being held. Recent talks include workshops on Gender Sensitivity, Mental Health, the Magna Carta for Women, and the Safe Spaces Act. MDC is also reviewing its company policies to make it more inclusive and meaningful for employees. Earlier this year, MDC extended its health coverage benefit for same-sex and heterosexual domestic partners of employees.

MDC is also an active member of parent company Ayala Land’s DEI workstream. Through this, MDC employees can contribute and join group-wide DEI programs including the DEI Employee Survey and the Ayala Group Inclusive Circle where employees from different paths of life are provided with a safe space to share experiences, life stories, and insights.
The company has just begun its DEI journey, but we are already seeing the support and enthusiasm of our leadership team and employees in promoting a dynamic and inclusive workplace for all. With this, MDC is honored to be named one of HR Asia's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion awardees for 2024.
