Through Baxter International Foundation, we collaborate with partners around the world to improve access to healthcare, make a positive impact to communities and develop the next generation of innovators.In 2020, Baxter launched the ‘Singapore BaxCare Fund’, to make a meaningful difference to our People, Patients and the Community at large. Every year, Baxter employees participate in various corporate social responsibility activities to help the less unfortunate such as partnering with Lion Befrienders to conduct bonding activities for senior citizens and Arc Children Center to help children with cancer.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Baxterians stay true to our mission to save and sustain lives with relentless support for healthcare professionals and patients. We ramped up production of critical medical products to support increased patient care levels, provided more than US$2 million in financial support globally for humanitarian relief organizations and expanded employment opportunities. In Singapore, Baxter participated in the SGUnited Traineeship programme to provide job opportunities for fresh graduates amid the economic uncertainty.
