Everise was founded with a vision to disrupt the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry and an unwavering belief that great companies revolve around great people.

The Everise focus on putting people first is why, right from the beginning, the team united around our values: being people-first, celebrating diversity, and incubating innovation. These three values are interrelated and all tie to the importance of each and every team member at Everise. These three values form our DNA and guide every workplace policy, practice, and employee benefit. What’s more, these values have inspired a winning culture that has become our competitive edge and taken Everise to success.

These values guide every aspect of our workplaces.

Workplace benefits, policies, and practices: addressing the gender gap and celebrating diversity

We knew that diversity would become a decisive competitive advantage, and that has inspired our efforts to build a welcoming and inclusive workplace.

From day one, we eradicated gender unequal pay gaps and progressively implemented a balanced gender mix. Today, women represent 65% of our workforce at a global level, and 45% are in leadership positions. To take things to the next level, we ensure a balanced mix of women in mentorship roles to build a talent pipeline.

To give some practical examples of how our workplace policies and practices in the Philippines help us build an inclusive culture:
  • Our best-in-industry benefits programs are designed to celebrate diversity and help unlock the team’s potential. For example, early on, we structured our healthcare benefits to cover same-sex partners with the same benefits as any other couple. These policies that ensure same-sex couples enjoy equal access to benefits ranging from hospitalization and teleconsultations to outpatient services illustrate the link between our policies and culture.
  • We know that policies need to be supported by substantive processes. So, we make it easy for every team member to access Transparent Dispute Resolution to ensure there is a safe avenue for employees to discuss any diversity-related issue. Likewise, we have strong disciplinary procedures to protect the team against any form of bullying.
Other examples include our unisex toilets, and consistent use of gender-neutral language.

Learning and Development: fuelling team growth and fostering an inclusive culture

We passionately believe in lifelong learning and have invested in our people to fuel their growth while they work. Everise has developed multiple in-house learning and development programs that span mentorship and accelerator programs for high potential colleagues through to ongoing education resources available to everyone. In addition, to promote holistic wellness, the team has access to wellness initiatives for the mind and body spanning from virtual yoga, mindfulness exercises, and cultural activities.

Our learning and development programs are also an opportunity for us to reinforce our inclusive work environment. We’ve had great success with a series of E-Talks, initially launched as a touring forum by our Everise Chief People Officer. The talks won such a warm response that the initiative has since evolved into a virtual roundtable where our colleagues come together for open conversations around topics like gendered bathrooms, sexual orientation, gender identity, and improving work conditions for all staff.

Furthermore, our Everise University digital learning platform includes training on diversity and how to work with people from different backgrounds and cultures.

Each and every Everiser plays a role in building our winning culture by embracing and living our values. It's why our culture is our competitive advantage and why our customer service is unbeatable. So, I speak for the whole team when I say we are very proud to win the HR Asia Best Company to Work for Award for the third year in a row, and we are very proud of what we are achieving together.

Sudhir Agarwal, Everise Founder and CEO

Employer branding: building welcoming and inclusive workplaces that invite the world’s best talent

Our relentless focus on putting our people at the centre of everything we do has created a welcoming, inclusive working environment.

Our three values are evident across the 6,500 reviews on the Everise Glassdoor.com entry. For example, on Glassdoor.com, we have an average 97% approval rating for our CEO Sudhir Agarwal, a 96% “Recommend to a Friend” score, and an overall rating of 4.7/5 stars. Similarly, on Indeed.com, over 6,200 reviews average a “Work Happiness” score of 80, a “Satisfaction” score of 84, and a total rating of 4.2/5 stars.

What’s more, since our founding, we have created an innovative, people-first culture that creates world-class customer experiences. This focus has made us proud to be one of the most awarded CX companies in the industry. We have collected 26 accolades for our innovative technology, ten awards for our diverse work culture, and nine awards for our world-class leadership.

Community Involvement: Giving back to the community

Through our Everise Cares program, we have engaged with communities on a local level. For example, in the Philippines, some of our activities (to name a few) have included donating groceries to our official Church partner, Sacred Heart Parish in QC, Metro Manila, as well as donating essentials for our beneficiary, Hospicio De San Jose Orphanage, whose residents were affected by COVID-19. We also committed to our yearly tree planting activities by partnering with Barangay Western Bicutan and providing Taguig residents with over 400 packets of vegetable seeds to promote self-sufficiency and sustainability.
