Our History

Our predecessor companies (Sandoz, Ciba-Geigy) trace their roots back more than 250 years, with a history of developing innovative products in dyes, chemicals and medicines. COMPREHENSIVE BENEFITS TOWARDS WORK-LIFE BALANCE
Novartis is committed to providing internal policies that optimize employee benefits while focusing on their health care. In addition to the mandatory health insurance by the Vietnamese Government and health insurance packages for employees and their families, Novartis has recently introduced a Critical Illness insurance package for all employees, protecting employee health at the highest level. At working premises, Novartis also creates resources to help employees maintain physical health such as dancing, yoga classes and sport programs (badminton, football, pickleball) on a weekly basis.

To best support its employees, Novartis Vietnam enables flexible working arrangements, applies a 6-month maternity leave regime for both male and female employees, and adds supplemental annual leave days in addition to regulated holidays and annual leaves.
