MB RECEIVED "HR ASIA – SUSTAINABLE WORKPLACE AWARDS”
Congratulations to Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) for being honored with the " HR Asia Best Companies To Work For in Asia Award 2024”, along with the special category award nominating for the first time at HR Asia: "Sustainable Workplace Awards”!The results of the “HR Asia - Sustainable Workplace Awards” are proof that MB emphasizes the environmental and social factors in organizational operations and prioritizes enterprises that operate environmentally friendly, aiming for sustainable development. By the end of June 30th 2024, MB green credit reached VND 63,633 billion, accounting for about 9.5% of the credit scale, focusing on clean energy, renewable energy, sustainable agriculture and forestry.
In addition, MB utilizes digital platforms to boost operational efficiency and minimize environmental impact. Up until now, more than 90% of internal operations have been conducted digitally, and 100% of the office area has integrated green spaces that are environmentally friendly, motivating and improving labor productivity for each MBer.
In an interview with HR Asia, Ms. Dang Minh Huyen – Human Resources Director of MB, stated that establishing a distinctive organizational culture, ensuring sustainable development, promoting learning and creativity are focused in the journey of realizing MB's strategy to become a Digital Enterprise – a leading Financial Group.
MB also demonstrates social responsibility through charitable projects and social welfare initiatives that have been implemented consistently over the years. In just the period from 2021 to 2023, MB has allocated 886 billion VND for social work. In particular, in 2023, Hi-Green, a campaign that promoted sustainable living, was successfully launched. Through athletic activities and online charitable donations, the campaign raised 8.1 billion VND and attracted more than 30,000 participants. All the funds have been used to implement the initiative of transforming the landfill into an ecological playground, bringing joy to thousands of children and people across Vietnam.
