PTBC has once again won the HR Asia Award 2024 in the category of "Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)." This remarkable achievement marks the bank’s second consecutive year receiving this award, underscoring its commitment to fostering a diverse, fair, and inclusive workplace.

Our Harmony in Diversity events are a cornerstone of our efforts to celebrate and encourage inclusion within our workplace. These events are designed to celebrate the diverse identities that exist within our workforce: where we invite all employee to wear their traditional clothes and learn the history of kain, one of Indonesia’s beautiful heritage.

We not only celebrate cultural diversity but also strive to promote inclusion for people with disabilities. We invited the founder of Sunyi Coffee, a local F&B company that champions inclusion by employing people with hearing impairments, whom we refer to as 'Teman Tuli'. Through these events, we learned sign language and looked for ways to contribute to building an inclusive workplace.

These events provide a platform for employees to share their unique cultures and experiences, fostering an environment of understanding and acceptance.

Ensuring inclusivity for all is a fundamental part of our commitment to #EveryoneMatters. One of our innovative initiatives includes training our frontline staff in our branches office to learn sign language.
