Astra Credit Companies, commonly abbreviated as ACC, is a car and heavy equipment financing company. By the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Regulation No. 29/POJK.05/2014 ACC expanded its business in the fields of investment financing, working capital financing, multipurpose financing, and business leases, both with conventional and sharia schemes. PT Astra Sedaya Finance, the forerunner of ACC, was established on July 15, 1982, under the name PT Rahardja Sedaya, which was established to support the automotive business of the Astra group.
In 1990, PT Rahardja Sedaya changed its name to PT Astra Sedaya Finance (ASF). In its development, PT Astra Sedaya Finance has investments in associated companies, which are PT Astra Auto Finance (AAF) and PT Swadharma Bhakti Sedaya Finance (SBSF) both of which are registered and supervised by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and have obtained licenses from the Ministry of Finance.
PT Astra Sedaya Finance also has investments in other associated companies that can support the business activities of ASF, AAF, and SBSF, which are PT Cipta Sedaya Digital Indonesia (formerly PT Staco Estika Sedaya Finance) and PT Pratama Sadya Sadana (formerly PT Pratama Sedaya Finance). Since 1994, ASF and its associated companies have developed the Astra Credit Companies brand to support their businesses.
ACC is fully committed to improving services for the community. ACC provides financing facilities for the purchase of new and used cars and heavy equipment, as well as Investment Financing, Working Capital Financing, Multipurpose Financing, and Business Lease facilities. ACC also sells cars through a dealer network, showrooms, and individuals throughout Indonesia. The ACC network is spread across almost all major cities in Indonesia. Currently, ACC has 76 branch offices spread across 58 cities in Indonesia and will continue to grow. ACC has always maintained its reputation as a leading finance company in Indonesia. When the economic crisis hit Indonesia in 1998, ACC weathered the crisis well. This included being able to repay syndicated loans in 1999 without restructuring.
”Leveraging business partnerships to enhance the execution of the company's strategy” is a key step for Human Capital to achieve sustainable and responsible business success. Human Capital implements its strategy by rewarding employees, which involves recognizing their abilities, developing their skills, and enriching their professional and personal qualities. This begins with the implementation of the Employee Value Proposition, known as #AdventurousCareer, which includes an excellent workplace, enthusiasm at work, excellent opportunities for personal growth, and integrated employee wellness.
We ensure that every employee has equal opportunities to develop themselves and pursue their careers through Integrated Talent Supply. Additionally, we ensure that competency improvement is a fun and engaging process through various learning experiences, supported by a learning ecosystem and knowledge management. ACC also provides its employees with opportunities to enhance their competencies through a range of program options and experiences with external partners.
We take pride in announcing the successful results of our talent development initiatives, as many of our leaders have progressed from within the organization. We have internally developed over 300 branch coordinators and nearly 300 branch heads. At the managerial level, 80 out of 83 individuals have been nurtured internally, and at the GM level, 14 out of 17 leaders have risen through our internal programs. Moreover, 4 out of 6 directors have advanced through our internal development initiatives. It is worth noting that 24 members of the Astra Group's board of directors are graduates of the ACC Leadership Development Program.
Our efforts to enhance workplace engagement have yielded significant outcomes, with an 8% increase in the number of Highly Engaged employees. ACC has also been ranked 3rd out of 72 companies in the Astra Group for its workplace engagement initiatives.
Our Human Capital (HC) strategy has played a crucial role in achieving a substantial increase in net revenue to 7.08 trillion rupiah and net income to 2.03 trillion rupiah. These achievements serve as a testament to our dedication to nurturing talent, ensuring employee satisfaction, and fostering sustainable growth within ACC.
