In 2022 and 2023, IOI Properties Group embarked on a journey of transformative HR initiatives, firmly grounded in our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) pillars: People Focus, Nurturing Leadership, Engaging Culture, and Rewarding Career. These initiatives were meticulously crafted to reinforce our commitment to our employees and cultivate a workplace where their professional and personal growth is paramount.

1. Strategies Implemented:

a. People Focus:
Our commitment to putting people first materialized through the introduction of a robust employee development program. We identified skill gaps through comprehensive assessments and tailored training programs to address these needs. The program not only enhanced individual capabilities but also fostered a culture of continuous learning, creating a workforce that thrives on adaptability.

b. Nurturing Leadership:
To nurture leadership at all levels, we implemented a Structured Leadership Development Program and Continuous Talent Review Workshop for Business Leaders for the seasoned leaders with emerging talents. This facilitated knowledge transfer, skill enhancement, and a collaborative leadership culture.

c. Engaging Culture:
In a concerted effort to bolster workplace engagement, we launched the 'Augmenting 1 Team IOI Employer Brand' and 'Elevating Employee Experience' initiatives, both strategically designed to foster a cohesive team culture. These initiatives collectively aim to cultivate an environment where employees are not only engaged and motivated but also feel genuinely valued. By creating a workplace culture centered on unity and well-being, we not only enhance talent retention but also contribute to a positive organizational ethos, ensuring the sustained success of IOI Properties Group in the long term.

d. Rewarding Career:
Our commitment to offering rewarding careers took shape in the form of a revamped performance management system. Clear career paths were outlined, and performance metrics were transparently communicated. We introduced digital tools to encourage effective two-way performance conversation to review goals, celebrate accomplishments, ensuring that employees felt recognized and rewarded for their contributions.

2. Employee Feedback & Response:

Our initiatives were not just top-down directives but were shaped by the valuable feedback received from our employees. Regular pulse surveys and employee surveys provided insights into the impact of these initiatives on their day-to-day experiences.

The response from our employees was overwhelmingly positive. They appreciated the tailored development programs and opportunities, employee wellness initiatives, and the inclusive culture initiatives. Employee engagement scores witnessed a significant uptick, reflecting a deeper sense of satisfaction and commitment to the organization.

In response to feedback, we refined our programs as reflected in employee surveys, underscores the alignment of our strategies with our EVP pillars.

In conclusion, the HR initiatives undertaken in 2022 and 2023 were not just programs; they were a testament to our commitment to creating a workplace where our employees can thrive personally and professionally. The ongoing dialogue with our workforce ensures that our strategies remain agile, responsive, and continue to elevate the employee experience.
