Avery Dennison has positioned digital transformation as a pivotal driving force in reshaping future HR services a few years ago. To drive a digital transformation in Avery Dennison, a global company with 35,000+ employees worldwide and operations in over 50 countries, undoubtedly presents challenges in terms of service delivery model change, integration of existing technologies, employee mindset change and et cetera. Nonetheless, Avery Dennison has been able to achieve several milestones by continuously learning the best practices from the market, with employees’ best interests at heart and a relentless pursuit of better employee experience.

The digital transformation has brought significant changes to our HR service delivery model and daily operations. One of the many outcomes is the development and adoption of Avery Dennison Access (known as “ad.a”), an integrated platform that provides 24/7 one-stop HR services and facilitates self-service for all employees with keyword search and AI supported chat. We also have a self-developed learning platform “Digiverxity” that allows departments and employees to design and take training courses in a self-service manner.

Avery Dennison has positioned digitalization as the key component in reshaping future HR very early on and kicked off HR digitalization journey several years ago to transform our HR service delivery model and to evolve employee/HR experience, we've successfully hit several key milestones so far, such as building HR service portal featuring easy accessibility and mobility, digitalizing onboarding process and implementing electronic document management.
