GELEX Group Joint Stock Company was found in 1990, through many stages of development, GELEX has become the leading investment group in Vietnam, operating in two core business lines of industrial production and infrastructure.

The journey to become a leading investment group in Vietnam

Currently, the GELEX Group consists of 50 subsidiaries; 10 affiliated companies, with 10,000 employees working throughout the group across from North to South. In 2022, GELEX recorded VND 32,090 billion in consolidated net revenue; consolidated profit reached VND 6,458 billion which always maintains a stable growth rate. By the end of 2022, the Group's total consolidated assets reached VND 52,400 billion.

GELEX owns many well-known brands such as: CADIVI – The No. 1 electrical cable manufacturer in Vietnam, specializing in manufacturing all kinds of wires and cables to widely serve national power projects, residential project and export electricity; EMIC - The manufacturer of electrical measuring equipment who is the market leader in product manufacturing technology, famous for its line of electronic meters with outstanding features that are installed and operated stably on the national grid; THIBIDI - The largest transformer manufacturer in Vietnam with quality products and reputable services; THIBIDI's transformer products also hold the highest market share in Vietnam; HEM: The leading unit in Vietnam in the field of design, manufacture, repair and maintenance of electric motors, generators, transformers.... and civil electrical equipments; CFT - the Vietnam's leading prestige copper wire production unit and one of the largest electrical engineering copper wire suppliers in Southeast Asia; MEE is a leading reputable manufacturer of 110kV transmission transformers with quality products, stable, safe, efficient and sustainable operation in the power grid; Viglacera – The leading manufacturer of construction materials and real estate in Vietnam; In the field of construction materials, Viglacera is the leading brand in supplying all kinds of construction materials, distributing throughout Vietnam market and exporting to more than 40 countries around the world; Song Da Clean Water - The enterprise which exploits, treats and provides 300,000m3 of clean water per day and night for about 250,000 households in the southwest of Hanoi.

In the history length, under the context of the macro economy facing many changes and fluctuations, the important thing that contributing to a stable GELEX is the right vision and strategy of the Group's Board of Directors through each period, along with the contributions of the leadership board of member units and employees throughout the system.

GELEX focuses on increasing the Group’s operational efficiency and its subsidiaries through restructuring business segments, applying lean thinking in operations, and optimizing costs and profits in manufacturing industries. Besides, GELEX will continue to invest in putting into on-time operation of ongoing projects; selectedly invest in new potential projects; research and invest in a number of new fields with high growth potential, good profitability and suitable for the GELEX ecosystem.

To keep abreast with the times and adapt to the new period, GELEX has released new policies such as strengthen cooperation with global corporations to expand markets and products in the value chain of the Group’s core businesses; continue to research and invest in potential wind power projects; exchange opportunities to cooperate with a number of partners and consider new projects.

GELEX Group determines that, in the overall development strategy, the human resource, especially the next-generation personnel, is always first prioritized to build. The Group has implemented large-scale projects, for example: "Build up the capacity framework and assessing capacity" project and training programs such as: improve management capacity training, soft skills training, professional knowledge upgrading, new policies dissemination; appointing staff to participate in training and exams for prestigious professional certificates...
