RHB Bank (Cambodia) PLC. was established on 9 July 2008, and registered with the Ministry of Commerce with the registration number of 00001812 and granted a banking license by the National Bank of Cambodia (“NBC” or “the Central Bank”) on 3 October 2008. On 31 January 2020, the Bank changed its name to RHB Bank (Cambodia) Plc. to synchronize the name with other international subsidiaries in line with RHB Group. The Bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of RHB Bank Berhad, a public limited liability company incorporated in Malaysia, and the ultimate holding company is RHB Banking Group pursuant to the Group Corporate Structure effective from 13 June 2016. The Bank is a commercial bank and operates under the Cambodian Law on Commercial Enterprises and the regulations of the National Bank of Cambodia (“the Central Bank”).
