WELCOME TO OMNICOM MEDIA GROUP

Omnicom Media Group (OMG) is one of the world’s largest leading media agency networks, and it comprises several media specialist companies, including OMD, PHD and Hearts & Science. As a people-powered business, we are committed to the continued growth of talents for both the organisation and the industry. We believe that our people are our greatest asset.

At OMG, we believe and work towards a bottom-line that addresses social, environmental and economic impacts, which is covered by our 3P framework:
  • People : The impact an organisation has on its most important stakeholders. This includes employees, families, clients, vendors, communities, and any other person influencing or being affected by the organisation.
  • Planet : The impact an organisation has on its natural environment. This includes reducing its carbon footprint, usage of natural resources, toxic materials and so on, but also the active removal of waste, reforestation and restoration of natural harm done.
  • Profit : The impact an organisation has on the local, national and international economy. This includes creating employment, generating innovation, paying taxes, wealth creation and any other economic impact an organisation has.
To better understand our employees and how we can improve, OMG conducts an annual global Employee Engagement Survey. The survey provides a multitude of data-points for our leaders and the People Talent Team to leverage, and forms the framework for many of the dedicated initiatives that have been rolled out.

At OMG Singapore, we strongly believe that our people are our greatest asset. We strive relentlessly to foster an inclusive environment that attracts, engages and retains the best possible talent. Our diversity of experiences, backgrounds, viewpoints and ideas is what makes us a great place to work, and differentiates us as an employer of choice.

UNLOCKING YOUR FULL POTENTIAL

At OMG Singapore, we are all about celebrating and empowering our people! We know that each individual brings a unique set of skills and experiences to the table, and we want to make sure that everyone feels valued and supported in their personal and professional growth. That's why we've created OMG Thrive - a comprehensive employee value proposition package that focuses on three key pillars to help enhance our people's journey.

OMG Thrive is all about fostering a growth mindset and leadership journey, and supporting our collective commitment to personal and professional development. We believe that whole person development is crucial to achieving success, and we provide our employees with the tools and resources they need to thrive.

Our three main pillars - Foundational, Experiential and Emotional - are designed to cover all aspects of our employees' lives.

The Foundational pillar covers the basics - things like Work-Life Balance, Celebrations and Recognition - that are essential to staying competitive in today's workforce. The Experiential pillar is all about enhancing our people's wellbeing, both physically and mentally. We provide opportunities for our employees to experience the organisation both inside and outside of work, so they can grow and develop in a holistic way. We also focus on growth and development opportunities, so our employees can channel their energy into becoming the best versions of themselves.

Last but not least, the Emotional pillar is all about building connections and fostering a sense of purpose. We believe that when our people feel connected to the vision and mission of the organisation, and are engaged in social responsibility initiatives, they will be inspired to bring their whole selves to work and make a real impact.

THE POWER OF DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

A driving force in our business is recruiting, developing and retaining a diverse workforce that reflects the reality of consumers and the community these days. Not only is this the right thing to do, but it encourages fresh ideas and thoughts that stimulate creativity and provide outstanding innovation.

In our efforts to enhance diversity, we have implemented various recruitment programmes such as the Google Skills Ignition Programme, ITE Work Study programme, SGUnited Traineeships, and our very own OMG LEAP Programme, which is a hands-on apprenticeship programme for anyone interested in media. We also established the first Digital Marketing Professional Conversion Programme in the advertising/marketing communications sector in Singapore, reflecting our dedication to talent development.

Moreover, we have implemented structures within our organisation to cultivate a gender-equal environment where everyone is valued for their talents, expertise, experience and perspectives. Our leadership team is comprised of two exceptional women who have risen through the ranks, and our workforce consists of a 65-35 women-to-men ratio, as well as a diverse mix of races, ethnicities and age groups.

To ensure that diversity and inclusion remain at the forefront of our values, we have established the Guardians of OMG (GOO), our first ground-up culture committee. GOO partners with the People Talent Team and business leaders to raise awareness and run initiatives promoting an inclusive workplace environment. We also celebrate international events such as International Women's Day and Movember, as well as local festivities such as Chinese New Year, Deepavali, Eid and Christmas.

PERKS OF WORK

Even before the pandemic struck, OMG Singapore was one of the first media agencies to launch a Flexi-Work Policy, where employees work from home once a week or start their day anytime between 7am-10am, while maintaining the core working hours per week. As part of ensuring our employees get to work as seamlessly and swiftly as they can, we have also streamlined our company’s transportation through Grab Corporate.

On top of that, we have also set in place policies to encourage our employees to prioritise their wellbeing and connect with their loved ones. These policies include Birthday Leave, Family Care Leave, 16 weeks Maternity Leave (this is an additional four weeks from the statutory requirement) and monthly Eat With Your Family Day.

Furthermore, OMG Singapore also provides physical and mental support for our employees through our Annual Health Screening and Flexi & Welfare benefits. The Flexi benefits covers a wide range of categories such as Sports & Wellness, Recreation, Health and Professional Development. On the other hand, the Welfare benefits include celebrating meaningful milestones in our employees’ lives such as Birthdays, Child Births and Marriages. When the going gets tough for our employees, we also provide funeral assistance when an employee’s loved one passes on.

As a way to boost our employees’ morale and recognition, we have rewards such as the Path to Greatness Award (long term service award) and Media Award Benefits (incentives for competition wins). To further showcase our appreciation, OMG has made it a point to consistently celebrate when their teams attain award wins for the organisation.

We seek to create a “work hard, play hard” workplace culture to achieve happier, healthier and more productive employees. With this in mind, we have a wide range of engagement programmes such as OMG Active and Buddy programme to form connections, unwind and recharge.
