Our team members have mobilized in inspiring ways over these past two years, and it is in large measure because of their dedication and passion that we remain a force for good. HPE team members have donated to support humanitarian efforts—matched 2:1 by the HPE Foundation and our team members are taking advantage of expanded volunteer time of to support many local organisations and beneficiaries. We recently celebrated “We are HPE Day” by clocked 1373 Kms donating 13750 bowls of rice and meals.Fostering a Strong Culture
Our team members keep our culture strong and lead our business forward. It’s also why we pay very close attention to team member feedback. In 2021-22, despite the continuing global COVID pandemic, our team member engagement score from our annual Voice of the Workforce survey reached 80%. Further, more than 84% of team members would recommend HPE as a great place to work, and 88% say they are proud to work for HPE. Furthermore, over 95% of team members feel they are given the flexibility to manage their work and personal needs, a good indication that we continue to meet the needs of team members during these challenging times.Engagement & Development and Well-Being
HPE is deeply committed to identifying and developing the next generation of top tier leadership with a special focus on diverse and technical talent. We conduct an in-depth annual talent and succession review with our leadership. My success plan ensures employees talk to their people leaders at least once a month and review their development needs, adjust their goals and career goals. We launched Career Hub in 2022, a website that focuses on accelerating talent development, strengthening mentoring and peer group networks and bringing learning and development resources through AI tools.The well-being of our team members is a top priority. We support the health of our team members through Winning with Wellness, our longstanding well-being initiative, that incorporates in-person and virtual resources like on-site trainings, wellness websites, a publicly available podcast series, a physical fitness challenge, and tailored programs to meet local needs. Through the Singapore engagement council, we regularly organise social and fun events like HPE Family Day, Racial Harmony Day, HPE Kids Day etc. Through the HP clubhouse, HPE employees have access to a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, badminton and squash courts. In 2021, we expanded the health benefits, organised Flu vaccination drives, free and subsided health check ups and made telemedicine more easily accessible. We also continued to offer our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), which provides everyday support like counselling, professional assistance for emotional and behavioural health, financial coaching. Our industry leading benefits like 6 months parental leave for both male and female employees, Wellness Fridays and parental transition support continues to retain and attract new employees. We were encouraged to see that 90% of team members who participated in our annual Voice of the Workforce survey felt that HPE takes a genuine interest in them by offering wellness programs to team members and their families.
Communication
HPE is committed to creating a workplace where no voice goes unheard . We practice an “Open door policy” as we believe in open, honest, two-way communication on a day-to-day practice. We have secure online channels for communicating matters that need resolution and a shared services model called Ask HR that ensures 24/7 self-help. In addition, in HPE Singapore we regularly organized focus group discussions, listening sessions, round tables.Through our resource groups, site councils, and culture catalyst networks, we keep our employees engaged. Innovative programs like Mystery connections, speed networking helps us connect with the wider HPE community. Through “The Depot Times” an inhouse publication we bring interesting news, customer wins, and site related news to the HPE Singapore site team.

The average tenure of a HPE employee is 12 years, a testament of employees sticking with a company with a culture that fosters well-being, growth and success.
