Working here has been a journey of self-discovery. I have transitioned from retail and special products to the FMCG industry, where I have been encouraged to think creatively, generate new ideas, and take on more managerial responsibilities. This role has significantly contributed to my personal and professional growth.

My role and responsibilities have evolved significantly over the years. Initially, with limited experience, my duties were relatively straightforward. However, when I first took on the role of managing a team of 70 people, I was faced with the challenge of effectively leading and motivating a large group to contribute to NEO's overarching goal of sustainable sales growth.

Starting my journey at NEO on July 19, 1998, I have had the privilege of growing with the company for 29 years. Today, I lead a team of 380 individuals. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunities I have been given by our CEO, including the freedom to make decisions, the encouragement to share new ideas, abroad working and numerous opportunities that I cannot describe by words. The CEO's emphasis on work-life balance and his philosophy of simplifying complex tasks have been instrumental in my leadership style. It's inspiring to realize that a simple shift in mindset can have a profound impact on one's productivity.

What attracted me to work at Neo 29 years ago was the Fine Line ironing product and EverSense cologne. Because I had to iron my own clothes and I used EverSense cologne myself, I was very determined to work for this company. At that age, I wanted a challenge, I wanted to find something new and different. And I thought that if I worked hard here, job security would definitely follow. Working here has met my expectations for the past 29 years. There may have been some periods where I had to adjust and understand each situation that arose. It is mainly up to me to get through each period. Ultimately, my 29-year journey has been ups and downs but everything has been an experience that has helped me grow into one of the executives today. And I am very happy with the role I have been responsible for all along. I always think that I am lucky to have met good bosses, managers, colleagues, and subordinates who have given me opportunities and valued me.

Neo's corporate culture embodies a strong sense of shared values, decision-making, and work practices at all levels. Employees across the board collaborate to overcome challenges together. For instance, during the devastating floods of 2011, all teams rallied to ensure that products reached customers. They devised alternative delivery routes, even if they were longer, to avoid flooded areas and deliver products directly to consumers. Our sales representatives waited at designated locations to receive and distribute products to unaffected areas. Moreover, management provided temporary housing for employees whose homes were flooded and who faced transportation difficulties. This gesture was deeply appreciated.

Furthermore, during the COVID-19 pandemic, management allowed employees to work from home without any salary cuts, demonstrating their compassion for employees even as sales declined. The company also provided vaccines to employees and facilitated various support measures to help them navigate these challenging times. Neo is committed to creating a positive and productive work environment. The company continuously invests in improving its facilities and workplace amenities to make it a more attractive and enjoyable place to work.
