Comprehensive Training for Employee Growth

Under Skills aspect, as external market trends shift and evolve, AUO wishes to provide thorough training to help employees and the company continue to grow and face challenges. In terms of strengthening skills, AUO has established AUO University, which includes seven colleges (Business, Leadership, Engineering, Science, General Education, Sustainability, and Future) with a mission to cultivate both generalists and specialized management talents, and also a comprehensive career development program that includes training plans for novice, competent, and expert. These are aim to keep driving Biaxial Transformation Strategy and systematically develop employees' professional and cross-disciplinary capabilities.

Global Job Rotation for Career Development

Apart from consistently improving employee skills, AUO also offers various pathways for employee development: Job bidding for internal horizontal progression, the Dual Career Ladder System for vertical advancement, and the Global Talent Development Program (GDP) for external growth opportunities. Internal job transfer allows employees to explore different roles within various departments, providing them with valuable experience and help them breaking through career bottlenecks. Secondly, AUO's Dual Career Ladder System supports both managerial and technical development, nurturing outstanding professional talent. This dual track approach allows individuals to deepen their expertise and become experts in their field, in addition to pursuing leadership roles. Furthermore, the GDP facilitates talent mobility and growth by aligning business needs with individual development goals. Through cross-border rotations and trainings, employees gain cross-disciplinary and international experiences, fostering a global mindset. 在Skills的面向,隨著外部市場趨勢的變化和演進,友達光電希望提供全方面的培訓,以幫助員工和公司不斷成長並應對挑戰。在強化技能方面,友達光電成立了友達大學,其中包括七個學院(商業學院、領導力學院、工學院、理學院、通識學院、永續學院和未來學院),希望培養通才和專業化管理人才,並設立了全面的職涯發展計畫,包括對新手、熟手和專家的培訓計畫。目的在於持續推動雙軸轉型策略,系統性地發展員工的專業能力和跨領域能力。

全球輪調及職涯發展舞台

除了持續改進員工技能外,友達也提供多元的員工發展途徑:內部競任、雙軌制升遷管道,以及為外部發展提供機會的全球人才發展計畫(GDP)。AUO鼓勵人才內部轉調歷練,提供員工嘗試不同單位及角色,累積經驗並突破職涯瓶頸。AUO在晉升管道中,以Dual Career Ladder System為核心,提供管理與技術雙軌發展舞台成就優秀專業人才。雙軌制代表的是各位的晉升管道不會只有擔任主管一條路,針對於在該領域的優秀專業人才,鼓勵其深耕專業技術成就領域專家。AUO也打造全球職涯發展舞台,提供「GDP全球人才發展方案(Global talent Development Program)」,促進人才流動與發展,因應業務與員工個人發展對接,安排進行3個月至2年的跨國輪調與培訓,累積跨領域、跨國界經驗並培養全球視野。
