We endeavor to enhance our leadership in digital health providers that offer telemedicine service, Health Up applications, and health e-commerce, hence focusing on promoting a Healthy Culture in our organization under the Healthy Together Ecosystem project using “Let's Get Healthy (LGH)” assessment form. Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (BDMS) has made a memorandum of agreement in collaboration with Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), which assesses the physical and mental well-being of our employees. The BDMS Group recognizes the importance of health care, and this evaluation has been researched and accredited internationally. Thus, this assessment form has been used in Thailand. The results of the LGH assessment were analyzed together with the outcomes of the annual health check and then summarized into individual health outcome reports. These reports can aid in formulating treatments and diminish health risks by scrutinizing data in research and getting into precautionary health care treatment. Moreover, in designing health promotion activities (Health Intervention Design) to inspire employees to be physically and mentally grateful, we have also been expanded to external customers.
In support of future progression, we have an organizational structure that aligns with the strategic mission and direction such as PIL (Phyathai and Paolo Innovation Lab) that promotes and drives innovation in both clinical and non-clinical aspects with the support of CPRIA (Center of Private Research and Innovation Accelerator) team with proficiency in R&D. We set up a Business Intelligent (BI) team to analyze and manage futuristic data that will be beneficial in designing and developing products and services that meet the needs of customers. Moreover we have the “BLESS Project”, which aims to improve work productivity and use Information Technology (IT) to increase operation efficiency.
There is a culture of learning and sharing knowledge in the organization in both Clinical and Non-clinical expertise conveyed between affiliated hospitals and further developed to create futuristic innovations that contribute value for the organization and society by establishing the Phyathai - Paolo innovation lab to collect ideas and analyze innovation approaches, we also attribute importance to vesting employees in formulating pioneering ideas through the “PPitch Awards from Passion to Innovation Project”. Thus empowering competent and qualified employees to consolidate an award-winning innovation which will be allocated for supplemental learning and development bounded within the group. Phyathai-Paolo Hospital Group gathered and stored physique of knowledge in CILA (Center of Interactive Learning Academy). In addition, employees have developed their competencies to provide superb quality of service by adhering to a customer-centric manner. To support our employees to sustainably learn by themselves we have work in partnership with the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy of Chulalongkorn University (CBS) in designing hybrid learning courses for executives and employees to study online through CILA Application, a self-taught learning platform that simultaneously connects online and offline learning.
We are a healthcare enterprise that focuses on employees' professional knowledge to ensure the overall safety of our patients’ physical and mental health. To enhance our leadership in digital health providers that offer Telemedicine service, Health Up applications, and Health e-commerce; we concentrate on continuously cultivating talents by providing state-of-the-art learning channels such as CILA Academy. Employees can learn online at their convenience; its content includes clinical and self-management courses on how to deal with the fast-paced world courses, on top of providing employees with channels to impart learning knowledge to colleagues in preparation to collaborate and build teamwork (Knowledge Management: KM).
To avert the shortage of employees with professional expertise, we then value the importance of creating a significant project; “Developing right-handed people” (Succession Planning and Talent Grooming Program). These are dedicated and keen employees with outstanding performance who intend to obtain a comprehensive, rigorous, and persistent improvement. A meticulous selection process was done to evaluate the potential for further development and readiness to attain growth by designing individualized courses and activities. Employees encompassed in this program will showcase their talents and growth lengthways with progression and success.
We believe that the genuine happiness of our employees begins at home where their family is. If they have a blissful family life, they can provide quality service and extend happiness to customers. To achieve work-life balance, we have organized "The Employees’ Kids Project" for kids from 6th grade to undergraduate level to educate them in various aspects such as self-planning, self-expression, etiquette of coexistence with others as well as intimate family coaching. This project is valuable as we consider our children as our future.
We have chosen to use the People Point Sharing Project to nurture our employees by visiting the Executive level in each hospital to share perspectives and contemplate on people’s insights. Then jointly plan and find solutions to make the employee care system impeccable and more efficient. We have channels to communicate with employees through HR Chatbot, Facebook Live, E-Mail and many other channels for employees to collaborate and reflect on numerous stories together.
