Commitment to Sustainability DevelopmentWe believe in empowering our employees beyond developing their competencies for better performance. We are also dedicated to fostering a sense of social and environmental responsibility. Our latest initiative was the impactful Cap Swap project, an initiative that encouraged employees to contribute by donating plastic bottle caps. Their response was truly inspiring. The collective efforts of our dedicated workforce resulted in an astounding collection of 274,000 bottle caps, surpassing our initial target of 100,000 caps by a wide margin. The caps were creatively transformed into unique handcrafted bookshelves through an upcycling process. These bookshelves, along with other sports equipment, children development books and educational supplies, were donated to schools in need. Our team also engaged the children in fun games and storytelling sessions that taught them about environmental responsibility and sustainability. With the support of our employees, we will continue to expand and enhance initiatives like the CAP SWAP project, ensuring its long-term sustainability and maximizing its positive effects on our community and the environment.
Central Retail’s Management Associate (MA) ProgramCentral Retail is solidifying its stance as Thailand's foremost multi-format, multi-category, and omnichannel retail platform. In addition, we're expanding into Italy and marking our presence as a leader in Vietnam's retail sector. Given this growth, Central Retail is in search of young, talented individuals who can be groomed for future management roles to adeptly handle the business challenges on the horizon.
Central Retail’s Management Associate (MA) Program has been running for the past 12 years to nurture and develop a diverse cohort of exceptional individuals, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and experiences needed to become tomorrow’s leaders capable of driving the best, sustainable and most admired customer-centric omnichannel retailer.
Central Retail MA Program Highlights:
- Based on the selected career track, the Management Associates (MAs) will rotate along the (i) General Track or (ii) Specific Track. They will be informed of the learning objectives and performance review criteria at the start of each rotation.
- At CRC, we believe in continuous development, and MAs learn from more than the program but also by doing ad receiving feedback and guidance from the Rotation Manager and the Sponsor. CRC Academy also provides a holistic approach to learning based on the 70-20-10 model. At the end of the rotation. the Rotation Manager will identify each MA’s strengths, areas of improvement and development gaps.
- The MAs also have the opportunity to meet the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from the Business Unit that they work with to present a project assignment and get feedback for project development.
