Menarini Asia-Pacific operates across the entire commercial value chain, from clinical development, regulatory approval and product launch to lifecycle management.
In partnership with some of the world’s leading biotech companies, our dedicated team of over 3,600 employees manages a fully integrated portfolio of high-quality proprietary healthcare and licensed healthcare brands that cover Consumer Health, Dermatology, Allergy/Respiratory, Gastroenterology, Cardio-metabolic, Anti-infectives, Oncology/Specialty Care and Men’s Health.
Every brand under our care receives our commitment to realise their full potential. To this end, we design Customised Business Models in consultation with our partners and carry out our Commercial Expertise in complete accordance with the highest levels of integrity and compliance − well above the requirements of regulatory standards. Testament to our Integrity and Customer Focus, we have also been entrusted by our partners to conduct clinical trials locally.
Seeing how COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on employee engagement, we took to listen to our employees and engaged them on how we can enhance employee experience and build their capabilities aligned with the company’s business strategy – a focal point of our People Strategy.
In response to our employees’ preferences for a hybrid work model, we formalized a two-day a week work from home arrangement; including Fridays. The new working arrangement also amount to energy savings in the office.
Besides a new hybrid-working model, our employees also indicated a preference for employee-led engagement activities and more opportunities to participate in cross-functional, cross borders initiatives, to expand their network and knowledge while building on the sense of belonging and community as one Menarini. This led to the development of our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) framework where we empower our young talents from across the region to discuss issues and identify ways to integrate DEIB into our culture. The forming of an employee-led resource group allows unbiased views and encourages employees to be their authentic self that allows us to listen to ideas from the ground.
In addition, our employees also raised the need for greater clarity on career options. We then collaborated with business leaders to identify future competencies and refreshed our competency framework and career ladder. With this, our employees including people managers have greater clarity on mapping and facilitating individual development plans, fostering a deeper people development culture.
