FrogAsia Sdn Bhd is an education company which has been established since 2012. We started as the first in the world to connect an entire nation through a single, cloud-based learning platform. We have since broadened our work in transforming education through technology to encompass building learning communities, influencing thought-leadership, and enabling businesses to provide training and development.

WORKPLACE POLICIES AND PRACTICES

  • Onboarding Journey: Induction, Welcome Kit and Tour
    Every new joiner gets to enjoy our no-work policy on their first day with us. New joiners are first given a warm welcome with a balloon greeting them at their desk. Personalized company merchandise and welcome kits are also given to new joiners based on a personality quiz they completed prior to their first day.
  • Professional Learning & Development: FrogCentral, RevYou and KASH plans
    FrogCentral is our one stop repository with information accessible by all employees. This digital platform also contains mandatory training modules such as Cybersecurity and PDPA. We also provide self-learning modules for employees to upskill themselves in their own time. We also run 360 feedback using our own performance review tool called Progress Revyou and ensure growth through KASH plans (Knowledge, Attitude, Skills & Habits).
  • Hybrid Work Arrangement
    During the pandemic, we transitioned seamlessly to remote working arrangements as we were already well equipped with digital tools for communication such as Slack. We are now working well with hybrid working arrangements where we work 2 days a week from home.
  • Employee Benefits
    In Frog, we provide health and leave benefits such as medical outpatient, dental, insurance and much more. Additionally, as a digital company, fast mobile data is very important to us and so we provide a mobile phone equipped with the latest 5G data plan

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT

1. Inter-team Cross-sharing and Celebrations
  • Monthly Townhalls: Frog Focus
    We run Frog Focus once a month in a hybrid manner. Here we provide the latest company updates, sharings, introduce new joiners, celebrate birthdays and festivities, name our Froggie of the Quarter, and run engaging activities for all to participate.
  • Team Day
    We run Team Days twice a year. This is when we get our remote teams to gather in KL for about a week to realign team goals and engage with one another across teams.
  • Cross-team Innovation Sessions: TingTank
    As innovation is part of our value, we also run workshops and Ting Tank, which are brainstorming sessions with people from different departments to come up with creative ideas and solutions!

2. Awards and Recognition
  • HEART Service awards : Honoring employees at 5 and 10 years of service
  • Froggie of the Quarter award : Recognising employees going above and beyond to exemplify HEART values in their work

3. Community Outreach
We also launched a company-wide CSR initiative to support learners from disadvantaged backgrounds. All our employees were involved, and took it upon themselves to create engaging educational materials to support their mentees. Through this initiative, we saw more than 90 kids impacted.

4. Culture Initiaitives
  • Elly-Vate Campaign
    We launched Ellyvate in 2022, an internal campaign where we looked into where our employees were at and how they were feeling. We sent out a survey to understand their sentiments and organized engagement activities like games over lunch, trivia bingo and so on based on the feedback, and they can collect stamps for every initiative they’ve participated in.
  • Interest Clubs
    Currently, we also have interest clubs, which are initiated by the employees such as i-CSR, i-frisbee, i-badminton, i-marvel and so on (with I meaning interest).
  • Coffee Meets Interest
    We also curate monthly Coffee Meets Interests sessions which are coffee chats for people from different departments to gather and to share about things they’re interested in beyond their day-to-day roles to help employees learn more about their colleagues beyond work.
