Titan is India's leading lifestyle company and among the most admired and respected corporates in the country. We have established leading positions in the Jewellery, Watches and EyeCare categories led by our trusted brands and superior customer experience. We have also diversified into Wearables, Indian Dress Wear and Fragrances & Fashion Accessories and are driving differentiation in these lifestyle categories, underpinned by our deep understanding of customer preferences. Our latest launch was IRTH - thoughtfully designed women's handbags.

Titan has been a favourite of Indian consumers for decades – and today, it’s fast making its mark in international markets too. Today, Titan Watches are present in over 40 countries with 7000+ points of sale, having served over 380,000 international customers. In 2020, we at Tanishq, entered and established a shining presence in the UAE, our first destination outside of India. Today, Tanishq has 4 stores in the USA and one store in Singapore. Mia opened its first store in Dubai taking the Jewelry international footprint to 14 stores. Yearning to do more, the company’s leading eye care brand, Titan Eye+ has also gone global through its journey in the GCC region as the newest addition to Titan’s international endeavors.


The financial year 2023-24 for the People team at Titan was celebratory as it witnessed many firsts through industry-leading practices. Some of them are as follows –
  • To support the ambitious growth plan of the company to achieve a 2.5 times higher by FY 2026-27, we kick-started the People team’s transformation journey – called People NXT
  • We launched CREST – Titan Manager’s Promise to cultivate an organizational culture rooted in the principles of CREST (Communicate & Coach – Recognize & Reward – Empathetic & Inclusive – Set Clear Expectations & Empower – Transparent & Fair).

    It ensures that a first-time manager, line manager, or manager of a manager has the same level of understanding of what’s expected from them to manage their team as a people manager. We believe that managers hold a crucial role in molding a corporate culture that harmonizes effortlessly with the commitments articulated in CREST.

    For about 1800 people managers in Titan, assimilation sessions were conducted to acquaint them with the CREST promises and the significance of embodying them when they interact with their team members.
  • Another exciting launch was Titan Sachiv – an AI-led intuitive tool that acts like a one-stop shop for employee queries/transactions management related to leave management, payroll, learning activities, appreciating co-workers, etc. It is capable of interpreting 55 policies and can also access details about tax deductions at source.

  • We have a unique engagement forum called “Tell Me” wherein the Managing Director & Chief People Officer meet employee groups in person to hear their feedback, suggestions, and thoughts directly. This helps them to understand the health of the organization, seek inputs to do better for the employees, and most importantly, drive the culture of listening. In 2023, they met 55 groups covering more than 400 employees in 13 locations. The 781 inputs received from the employees were shared with respective leaders anonymously through an in-house portal to drive closure and respond to the employees who raised them.

  1. We endeavor to mirror the demographic profile of the employees with our customer demographics. To achieve this, we have made good progress in the lag indicators. Some of the key highlights in our journey to be a diverse, inclusive and equitable workplace are –
    • Launching inclusive policies such as Equal Opportunity & Anti-Discriminatory Policy, Parental Support for Children with Special Needs, Travel policy which allows employees to travel with their infants & a caregiver during work trips, etc.
    • We conduct non conscious bias workshops for all 1800+ people managers to build empathy and to work equitably
    • Communication guidelines – Few introductions have been made to include sign language interpreters at all Company-wide communication events to include our hearing-impaired colleagues
    • Sequal - To demonstrate that career breaks are not a setback but an opportunity for personal growth, the returnship program called Sequal was launched to embrace non-linear career paths for women. Project-based opportunities are offered to them to refresh & update their skills, build confidence, and network. We have women who have joined corporate life after a gap of 2 to 17 years!
