History

Rodolphe Saadé, a visionary captain of industry Chairman and CEO of the CMA CGM Group since 2017, is writing a new page in the Group’s history, one that will leave its mark on the entire shipping and logistics industry. His bold strategy is customer centricity and will enable the company to continue its development as a responsible corporate citizen. Firmly committed to the energy transition in shipping and a pioneer in its use of alternative fuels, the Group has set a Net Zero-Carbon target for 2050.

Via the CMA CGM Foundation, the Group supports thousands of children as part of its efforts to promote education for all and equal opportunities, and it intervenes in humanitarian crises requiring an emergency response by calling on the Group’s shipping and logistics expertise to deliver humanitarian supplies around the world.

CMA CGM China is a fully-owned subsidiary of the Group.
