Wipro Consumer Care Vietnam in Covid-19 pandemic
We did monitor the situation daily and paid close attention to the measures declared by the respective government. Measures taken common across all functions are: all international/ domestic travel for business to be stopped with immediate effect, meetings with more than 10 members to be held virtually, encouraged frequent washing of hands and wearing mask while talking, distributed hand sanitizers/ masks to all the employees to be used frequently through the day, maintained thermal checking in all our offices and plants, employees at workplace to maintain a minimum of 2m distance from each other and working from home. We also built up and implemented policy of supporting allowance for employees affected by Covid-19. Wipro had implementation Of The "3 On-Site" Option at The Factory (on-site production, on-site dining, on-site accommodation) to maintain production activities as well as ensure the safety of employees.

Motivated employees to get through this time together, created a meeting between all departments to come up with a clear unified plan: rules at the factory, how to deal with F0, assigned tasks to each department, and backed up plans for incurred cases. Besides, we supported policies such as built - up salary policies to attract and motivated employees: 200% daily salary, Covid test had been supported by the company and vaccinated arrangement for all employees.
Furthermore, we conducted many CSR activities to donate more than 100,000 bar soap/ hand sanitizer gel/ handwash (being worth nearly VND 3 billions) to the poor households in Binh Duong province, who lack of conditions during the social distancing against pandemic and government organizations that are directly implementing the prevention and control of Covid-19.
