  • Lazada Marketplace : Lazada’s Marketplace gives retailers instant access to millions of new customers. Launched on the Lazada platform in 2013, Lazada Marketplace provides a full suite of services, from secure payment options and customer care support, to a wide distribution network and marketing analytics, aimed at enabling our sellers to sell more.
  • Cross-Border : With a mission to bring the world to Southeast Asia and provide a gateway for Southeast Asian brands to reach international consumers, Lazada’s cross-border business features homegrown brands and sellers from markets that include China, Hong Kong SAR, Korea, Japan, the United States, and Europe. Workplace Policy and Practices:

We carefully design our workplace to ensure safety and collaboration. Apart from having meeting rooms for teamwork and phone booths for focused individual work, we also created large flexible spaces that can be divided into smaller rooms or open up to facilitate different types of activities e.g. training, townhalls. We designed large pantries with ample seating spaces with supplies of coffee, snacks, icecream, and fruits, so this area could be used for casual gathering for employees. For relaxation, we have nintendo switch, massage chairs, table tennis, boxing bags, and a fun slider.

Lazada promote trust-based culture and focuses on performance-driven outcomes. As we say in Lazada, trust makes everything simple. Under this program, Lazada allows employees to work from home up to 2 days per week.

Employee benefits and Activities

With our nature of business, mega campaign periods are usually stressful for employees, therefore, we make it fun for them with different themed activities like photo booths, games, and karaoke. We also established employee-led clubs, where employees are sponsors to find a community of people who enjoys similar activities e.g. soccer, badminton, basketball, and boardgame.

Lazadian’s mental health is another part that Lazada pays attention to. Lazada has launched LazListen which is an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) providing immediate and confidential help for any work, health or life concern 24/7. Management team also encourages “Pause Wednesday” to build “No Meeting” habit on Wednesday mornings; allowing employees to have time to reflect and get important things done without any distractions.

Lazada also strive to be an inclusive workplace. Our young and energetic workforce are encouraged to be themselves at work. We often see employees dress casually and freestyle. Career Progression

To facilitate career journey, Lazada launched LazSwitch program for internal job rotation. Lazadian can select the position they’re interested in and submit CV directly to the system.
