("former Parent"), formerly known as Hewlett-Packard Company ("HP Co.") spun-off Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company ("we", "us", "our", "Hewlett Packard Enterprise", "HPE", or "the Company") pursuant to a separation agreement (the "Separation and Distribution Agreement") Since the Separation, we have operated as an independent, publicly-traded company.
On April 1, 2017, we completed the separation and merger of our Enterprise Services business with DXC Technology Company ("DXC”).
On September 1, 2017, we completed the separation and merger of our Software business segment with Micro Focus International plc ("Micro Focus").
