Family-owned since it was established in 1885, Boehringer Ingelheim is one of the pharmaceutical industry’s top 20 companies. Some 50,000 employees create value through innovation daily for the three business areas human pharmaceuticals, animal health and biopharmaceuticals. Boehringer Ingelheim Taiwan Ltd. Founded in 1975, is a subsidiary of Boehringer Ingelheim. With core business in Human Pharm and Animal Health.

We have been focused on employee benefit, built a diverse and inclusive environment, and promoted the innovation culture. We also strived to create a workplace to enable continuous learning and growth for all employees to unleash their full potential and to create team value. With the annual Global Employee Survey and regular meeting with management team, we are able to review ourselves on a constant basis and provide a two-way communication channel for our employees. Committed to Talent Development and Corporate Social Responsibilities

At Boehringer Ingelheim, we’ve always believed that talent is our most important asset. Besides a variety of training courses and cross functional talent development programs, we also started an initiative to cooperate with the top university, NCCU, and launch the Mini-MBA program in 2021. With these programs, we ensure employees from different functions and levels can all be well developed. To provide employees broader and more diverse career development path, we encouraged them to gain different experiences through rotations or pursue short to mid-term overseas assignments. At the same time, we also responded to “Sustainable Development for Generation (SD4G)” program from our headquarter and cooperated with the community to promote SDGs(Sustainable Development Goals)-related projects. The themes of these projects include marine conservation, climate change, and circular economy, etc. We hope to set an example for others to follow in promoting Taiwan's SDGs.
