Allianz Taiwan Life

Allianz Taiwan Life with over 500 employees provides a full range of life insurance protection and unit-link savings products and services to its customers throughout Taiwan through its extensive network of agents and business partners. Leveraging on strong multi-distribution channels with over 3,000 agents, 35 sales offices, 33 banks/financial institutions and 49 broker partners, it serves about 316,282 customers. As one of the most important life insurance markets for Allianz, Allianz Taiwan Life’s business enjoys profitable growth.

Financial technology (FinTech) subverted traditional financial service models; “Comprehensive development of digitalization” is an important global operation strategy for the Allianz Group. The world in which Allianz operates is changing rapidly and as we proceed on our journey of change and renewal, one thing remains constant: our people are our strongest asset. The engagement, trust and commitment from our employees are critical to shaping our company for future success.

While we rely on your crucial feedback all year round, the AES is our opportunity to collect and consolidate feedback from each and every one of you in a targeted way.

ESG

We take our responsibility for environmental and social issues seriously. This is why we encourage our employees to get involved in volunteering. Furthermore, by sharing stories about how we at Allianz care for tomorrow to attract external talent. In Taiwan, we establish the ESG Committee and keep doing several activities, such as holding football events/camps for the children, raising funds for the elderly with dementia, reduction in food waste, turning off lights, sports leave, and mountain/beach cleanup, to contribute towards the society and environment.

Allianz Day Off:
All Allianz employees worldwide have done a great job during the pandemic. They have lived up to our Purpose "We secure your future" for our customers with extraordinary commitment and unity. Allianz is offering all employees around the globe an extra day of vacation this year. To make it more meaningful, locally, we encourage our employees to take Allianz day off with their actions for ESG, such as beach/mountain cleanup, and so many employees have considerable passion and share their Allianz day off for our future on social media to demonstrate our EVP “We care for tomorrow”.

Dementia Senior:
To raise the care and attention of the public for dementia seniors, since 2006, Allianz Life Taiwan has joined hands with the Taiwan Catholic Foundation of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia to raise funds together for elderlies with dementia. All the funds raised are used to take care of low income elderlies with dementia and dementia knowledge promotion. In 2021, we had the unprecedented collaboration with the Pili International Multimedia, a glove puppetry production company, to launch the 14th edition of their annual fundraising event. Over the years, more than NTD $73 million were raised and over 20,000 donors participated passionately; to date, 24-hour care have been provided for nearly 100 dementia patients, and meal delivery as well as home services were provided for more than 820 elderlies who are living alone.

Allianz Junior World Cup:
To support youth sports and lay the foundation for Taiwan football, Allianz Taiwan Life has partnered with Taipei Football Association to hold Allianz Junior World Cup (AJWC) for kids aged 4~15 since 2014. This has already become the largest toddler football event over the years, actively cultivating new blood for the development of grass root football in Taiwan.

Olympic and Paralympic Movement:
From 2021, Allianz begins 8-year worldwide Olympic and Paralympic partnership. There are lots of activities globally and locally. On February 4th 2021, we have our Global Celebration Day where we held the activities to let our employees not only aware of this partnership, but also get the chance to know more about local Olympic history, and experience some of the Olympic sports, and this year we will also celebrate it in June with biking/running activity.

疫情期間,我們除了每日嚴格把關員工及同住家人的健康狀況並定期進行職場衛生消毒外,也提供同仁健康關懷包(維他命、消毒酒精等)及返回職場的同仁免費的快篩試劑。2021年疫情嚴峻,台灣發布三級警戒時期,安聯人壽更領先同業,率先宣布員工全面居家辦公,並提供同仁居家辦公設備補助及危險職場津貼;針對因工作型態需求必須進公司處理公務的同仁,我們全額補助其上下班之計程車資,以降低員工通勤染疫的風險,確保他們的安全與健康。

另外,員工的心理健康也是我們所重視的議題。為了提供同仁更全方位的關心與照顧,我們提供同仁員工協助方案 (Employee Assistance Program) ,目的在於發現並協助同仁解決可能影響其工作效能的個人問題,使其能以健康的身心投入工作。EAP員工協助方案提供同仁24小時且全年無休的免付費電話專線,讓同仁可以即時與個案管理師洽談,並根據專業評估擬定可解決問題之目標與可能的改善方法,讓同仁可以在身心健康的狀態下展現工作最佳戰力。





後疫情時代的新工作模式— WOW (Ways Of Working)
後疫情時代之下,因應遠距上班跟辦公室上班混合的新常態,我們推出了新工作模式- WOW (Ways Of Working),以協助員工在新常態中能保有工作效率並兼顧工作生活平衡:
  • 每周可以申請2天的居家辦公
  • 安聯無會議日:每季初最後一個禮拜五下午宣導不要召集會議,讓大家可以專心工作不被開不完的會議打擾
  • 斷電時間:宣導不要於非上班時間寄信
  • 安聯會議禮儀:共同建立九個有效率的會議習慣
工作與生活平衡
我們推出每週工作時間38.75小時,讓同仁們可提早離開辦公室,此外,針對有年幼子女或長輩等家庭照顧需求的員工,提供家庭照顧支持,員工可提出申請在家工作或縮短工時,使員工得以自主安排工時及工作地點。

自2020年10月1日起,更全面提升員工福利,女性員工有薪產假由原有法定的8周(56天),增加至4個月(120天),讓女性同仁在產後能得到更好的休養,也能讓員工有更多時間調整步伐及自我準備,以最佳狀態再次回到工作崗位。

薪資福利
薪酬制度方面,公司根據有公信力的職務評價及薪資調查資料,建立具有內部公平性、外部具競爭性的薪資結構。除了薪資之外,為體恤員工,公司除了提供優於勞基法的員工福利外,對於同仁的優秀表現亦會以各種方式給予肯定與酬賞:員工認股計畫、三節獎金、年終與績效獎金等。

ESG:我們重視環境永續發展

【響應地球日節能減碳】
我們每年響應Earth Day地球日,關閉總公司、花蓮及屏東等地之招牌燈一小時,共省下了11度電,相當於200棵樹一天吸收的6公斤二氧化碳。為了減少碳足跡,安聯人壽「國內出差辦法」亦規定出發地至預定目的地單程距離250公里內始得自駕。

【淨灘活動】
安聯同仁積極參與淨灘、淨山等節能減碳活動,從2016年「還給招潮蟹彈塗魚一個乾淨的家」就積極號召業務同仁舉辦淨灘公益活動,2020年更舉辦了兩場淨灘活動,並邀請客戶一同參與,總計近300位同仁及客戶身體力行,以具體行動守護環境,保護海洋生態,希望還給海灘原本的樣貌。2022年,安聯人壽更首度參與RE-THINK的年度環島淨灘盛事!於7/16(六)在新北-萬里頂寮一起和大家協力對抗海洋廢棄物。透過淨灘活動,和大家一起探究人類的生活如何影響海洋環境。

【安聯小小世界盃】
安聯人壽為了讓台灣足球可以向下扎根,除了不斷深耕「足球小將」的概念,持續為年輕球員提供接受頂級足球訓練的機會,更自2014年起針對幼稚園及國小兒童學辦「安聯小小世界孟,2年下來已成為全國最大幼兒足球賽事,為台灣基層足球運動的發展積極培育新血。

【高齡關懷】
為了喚醒社會大眾對失智老人的關懷與注意,台灣安聯人壽自2006年起,結合天主教失智老人基金會,携手為失智老人募款,並邀請知名藝人為銀髮樂活系列公益活動代言,所籌募的愛心款項全數做為照顧低收入失智老人反失智症知識宣導的經費。歷年來共募得超過7,300萬善款,獲得逾20,000人次捐款人的熱情參與,迄今已提供近百位失智患者24小時之全日養護照顧,並提供超過1,100位獨居長輩送餐與居家服務。

【ESG概念具體落實於投資政策】
身為ESG先驅,本公司於2018年即經投資委員會議核准,建立ESG投資政策,將ESG元素導入投資流程,以確保安聯台灣管理的資產內容,除能符合集團嚴謹的ESG規範,還能貢獻全球環境永續發展。透過獨特的標的篩選及後續監控,安聯人壽於環境永續議題下充分貫徹責任投資原則,領先同業履行對ESG的承諾。
