Since our entry in 2003, Avery Dennison has had a strong presence in Vietnam. Our flagship Long An plant provides world class manufacturing facilities together with distribution centers located in Ho Chi Minh city & Bac Ninh. These modern facilities incorporate Avery Dennison’s global materials science and know-how capabilities in packaging and labeling solutions, helping our Vietnamese customers seamlessly do business in Vietnam as well as integrate into the global supply chain.

THE AVERY DENNISON FOUNDATION AND CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Avery Dennison has a strong corporate social responsibility (CSR) ethos. The Avery Dennison Foundation (AD Foundation) leads the company’s corporate social responsibility efforts. AD Foundation supports three main areas: Education, Sustainability and Women’s Empowerment.Granting Wishes is an opportunity for all Avery Dennison employees to recommend local nonprofit organizations to gain a potential donation of USD 3,000 from the Avery Dennison Foundation to address issues that impact the communities. In 2019, Granting Wishes Vietnam team conducted 3 meaningful volunteer activities, including: 1) CHANGE: Promoting non- plastic containers using; 2) JOY: Setting up library rooms for schools, located in remote areas and 3) GREEN: Donating computers and books to ethnic minority schools.
SAFE WORKPLACE DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Avery Dennison Vietnam is committed to a safe and sustainable workplace for all employees.The Leadership team has taken proactive actions to ensure health safety and employee protection against COVID-19 pandemic:- Provide sufficient hygiene masks, antiseptic liquids, vitamin tablets to all employees and apply social distance/isolation at the early stage.
- Conduct regular communication on Covid-19 infection prevention, operations plans, company requirements, and workplace protocols.
- Develop an appropriate business continuity plan for each possible scenario.
- Assign “a floor officer” in each working area to keep employees well informed in all emergency situations.
