Takeda is a global, values-based, R&D-driven biopharmaceutical leader headquartered in Japan, committed to bringing Better Health and a Brighter Future to patients by translating science into highly-innovative medicines. We are focusing on developing highly innovative medicines that contribute to making a difference in people's lives by advancing the frontier of new treatment options and leveraging our enhanced collaborative R&D engine and capabilities to create a robust, modality-diverse pipeline. Our employees are committed to improving the quality of life for patients and to working with our partners in health care in approximately 80 countries.

Established in 1969, Takeda Thailand is the third longest running business within the company’s global footprint, and we are committed to delivering better health and a brighter future for Thai patients and beyond. Aligned with Takeda’s global strategy, we commit to bringing innovative therapies to Thai patients in five core areas: Gastroenterology (GI), Oncology, Rare Diseases, Plasma Derived Therapies and Vaccines.

Since our founding in 1781, our integrity-centered values have guided us in everything we do. They have been inherited as Takeda-ism, with patients as our priority and continue to guide us in our pursuit of better health for people worldwide. Furthermore, we are committed to “protect our planet” by making environmental stewardship and resource conservation central to our business operations and practices and building a sustainable future for our communities.

To strive towards Better Health and a Brighter Future for people worldwide through leading innovation in medicine

We serve the needs of our patients, wherever they are. We earn the trust of society and customers through Takeda-ism.

We are recognized as best in class because of agility and innovation, qualities that help us build a steady pipeline and deliver growth, year on year.

Our Priorities
We take action and make decisions by focusing on our four priorities in order of patients, trust, reputation and business.

Our employees are the cornerstone of our success.

Working at Takeda, it is important that our people feel empowered to perform to the very best of their ability as they work towards creating a brighter future for millions of patients worldwide. We are committed to the growth of our people, providing support, training and fostering a culture of trust to facilitate leadership at all levels.

Continuously investing in our people
Our significant offerings in training programs allow everyone the opportunity to work at the highest levels of our industry, with fast-track programs accelerating the progress of high-potential candidates. Our global and regional leadership programs partner with international business schools across the world. Locally, we are dedicated to nurturing our talents to support business transformation through several initiatives including our 2-year STAR Development Program and Action Learning Coach Program focusing on problem solving, developing high performing teams, and strengthening leadership. As a result, Takeda Thailand received the Best Application Award in 2018 by the World Institute for Action Learning (WIAL).

Our Global CSR Program & Partnerships play a vital role in disease prevention and strengthening health care systems through long-term commitments in developing and emerging countries. In 2019, Takeda Thailand partnered with the Thai Cancer Society to organize the “Share Your Rare,” to support and drive awareness to cancer patients and their caretakers on how to better manage the disease post-diagnosis. Takeda Thailand also partnered with 7 stakeholders in the Thai healthcare community and signed a 5-year MOU to raise awareness, diagnosis and standard of care in rare diseases.

Improving Access to Medicines for Thai Patients
We are committed to bringing several innovative, life-transforming medicines to address the unmet needs of Thai patients. Since 2016, we have continuously expanded our Access to Medicines Program, mobilizing collective action to tackle the growing burden of complex and rare diseases by strengthening healthcare systems in a sustainable way, at every stage of the patient journey - from awareness and diagnosis, to treatment and ongoing patient support.

It is our deepest honor to receive and being recognized on the second consecutive year with this prestigious award. This award is testimony to the passion and commitment that each and everyone at Takeda Thailand brings to life and the HR team who always goes above and beyond.

We continue to foster the inclusive environment and enhance employee experience which are the essential ingredients to support our employees to thrive and grow at their full potentials. This year’s accomplishment is to reinforce our commitment to “people” who are the cornerstone of our success and the ones who work relentlessly to provide Better Health for people, and a Brighter Future for the world.
