Innolux Corporation established in 2003 and merged with Chi Mei Optoelectronics and Toppoly Optoelectronics in March 2010. Smart recruitment
A variety of up-to-date recruitment channels are in place. LINE@ real-time interaction provides one-stop service including notification of events and vacancies, job matching, interview booking and skill sharing. VR experience provides applicants immersive experience of future work place. AI interview allows intelligent talent screening. Innovative recruitment methods are adopted to attract talents from different nations with different cultures and promote corporate image at the same time.

Smart workplace APP
Self-developed workplace APP provides a convenient platform for employee communication including pandemic prevention notice, booking of traffic, accommodation and meal, consultation, complaint, attendance-taking, and leave application. Online class function is also available to make learning without time and location limits.

Digital transformation and value-added training
Innolux College was established with five major faculties to assist in employee’s professional growth. A wide variety of courses are available to employees with a total number of 14,000 sessions in a year. Digital transformation scheme provided big data and AI courses which were completed by 8,900 persons (completion rate 86%) and cultivated 1,204 supervisors and 218 seeded students. In the advanced digital courses, 347 digital managers and 287 digital technology leaders were trained. Based on the fundamental trainings for ordinary employees, cultivation programs against middle to executive level management were designed to enhance leadership like battle camp and team building camp. Innolux realized talent streaming to encourage internal promotion. In 2020, 500 operators were promoted to equipment maintenance technicians; 125 DL were promoted to be IDL. The internal transfer rate achieved 12.7% to encourage cross-field development.
Performance-driven dual development
Innolux emphasizes gender balance and friendly workplace. Promotion is based on performance, attitude, enthusiasm, and aggressiveness rather than gender and age. Innolux designs two development paths,“Management Development”and “Profession development”to make room for different kind of talents. The ratio of women management shows an increasing trend year on year amid the traditionally male-dominated manufacturing environment. The disability employment rate continues to outnumber regulatory standard.

Innolux leads the way in Taiwan to announce special leaves for the fulfillment of different life stages and allowances for travel and learning to realize work-life balance. A 24h employee care hotline and APP communication channel are in place to provide in-time support. We also have recreation center, employee clubs, massage stations, various activities and partner shops to promote employee’s living and well-being. In 2020, there were 25 employee clubs, 60 sessions of activity, 4,400 partner shops available at APP. The in-house recreation center is equipped with swimming pool, gym room, multi-function sport court, and massage station to help relieve the stress at work. Various activities like sport competitions, fun contests, and seminars attracted 22,000 participants to mark a 76% participation rate.
