Family-owned since it was established in 1885, Boehringer Ingelheim is one of the pharmaceutical industry’s top 20 companies. Founded in 1975, is a subsidiary of Boehringer Ingelheim. With core business in Human Pharm and Animal Health, we support patients in the area of the respiratory, oncology, diabetes, cardiovascular, Parkinson’s disease, fibrosis disease, HIV and more. We support companion animals and their owners in parasite prevention and the treatment for heart disease and support Livestock farmer in several disease prevention, such as porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome, Newcastle Disease and more.

What’s more, Boehringer-Ingelheim had set Dec 24, 2020 to Jan 3, 2021 as company holiday globally in appreciation of the hardworking of our colleagues during COVID-19. Career Development and Talent Management

Employee development matters to us. Applying 70-20-10 approach, our employees strengthen their skills and broaden their horizon by diverse educational and training programs, ongoing feedback/feedforward, challenging assignments, and the opportunity for cross-organizational moves. To help with employees’ individual development, all our colleagues had received their own Occupational Personality Test (OPQ) report and to better understand their preferred ways of behaviors. Our APEX program, leveraging the blended learning from classroom learning, on-the-job learning, to development center, accelerates the first-line employees’ potential and experience. What’s more, we also provide short to mid-term overseas assignment opportunities to give our employees more exposure and build up connections across the region.

Value through Innovation

We are committed to establish our innovative culture. The newly created Power BIC (Power Business Innovation Campaign) is a program that we bring together cross-functional colleagues to form project groups and generate innovative patient-centric solutions. During this 8-month program, these colleagues had started from the Design Thinking training, to project proposal, and then execution under the coaching of professional consultant. Living the innovative culture, it is our hope to keep developing breakthrough and innovative healthcare solutions to improve human and animal health.

Corporate Social Responsibility

We became a pioneer early in 2019 by introduced the United Nations SDG 17 dimensions and conducted a comprehensive inspection of the company’s current actions. We have thus established the social movement map to move forward and invest in these areas, step by step according to plan. We hope CSR creates more than a transient phase, but a sustainable effect! In regards to the animal-related issue of “adopt, don’t abandon”, in addition to disseminating concept, working on lives education, and introducing high quality owners by adoption/successful corporate cases, etc. we are also working hard to make animal adoption easier from a system level, hoping to massively increase the number of adoptions.

Meanwhile, we have conducted a complete review of all the internal activities. Can’t the employee and client-oriented activities create social value?! We are attempting to improve in this area so that we can proudly claim that we are a “Truly Local Taiwanese Corporation”!!! For example, we paid special attention to aboriginal issues for our 2020 company outing. It was highly discussed, and increased economic benefits. In addition, it allowed the staff to have fun while learning new knowledge.

「台灣百靈佳殷格翰股份有限公司」是百靈佳殷格翰在台子公司,成立於1975年,迄今已逾45年,員工約300人。人類處方用藥及動物用藥是公司的核心業務,持續在呼吸道疾病、癌症、糖尿病、心血管疾病、帕金森氏症、纖維化疾病、HIV等領域幫助更多病患;在動物保健方面,我們持續在內外寄生蟲預防與心臟疾病與慢性腎病治療上協助伴侶動物與其照顧者,更也在許多疾病上協助經濟動物產業的畜場主人,如豬隻環狀病毒及藍耳病、家禽馬立克病及新城雞病…等。
