From airlines, hotels, to event organizers, 21.5% of businesses run in Indonesia depends on tourism. However, Indonesia needs our help to build adequate infrastructure to maximise its potential. Maximising the country’s digital growth and penetration, we want to open Indonesians window to the world, and also the world’s window to Indonesia. At tiket.com, we aim to become the most consumer centric Online Travel Agent (OTA) simplifying tourism using the technology that we develop. Our mission is to make Indonesia a prosperous nation through tourism, by strategically partnering with local and international travel and tourism businesses.

Our Business & Product Overview

To become the most consumer-centric company, we invest in continuous innovation to simplify and revolutionize tourism using the technology that we build for more than 17 million of our growing users globally. We are the go-to online market place for product and services that covers flight, hotel, car rental, event and attractions, train, and airport transfer bookings. In 2019, we were announced as the fastest growing Online Travel Agent (OTA) in the world by SABRE.

By January 2020, our business experienced a massive growth. We are currently partnering with more than 80 airlines, more than 500,000 local and international hotels, 150 Car rental providers, more than 1000 B2B Corporate partners, and we are also the leading events ticket box in Indonesia with more than 3000 event partners and 900+ attraction site partners.

In 2021, CEO, George Hendrata welcomed The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, Sandiaga S. Uno in our tech centre. He believes that a sustainable partnership is a key to revive Indonesia's tourism continuance. This collaboration will certainly have a positive impact on workers in the industry. Through the ticket-to-do feature, we will provide a series of tourism needs, from lodging, attractions, to car rental to support the recovery of Indonesian Ministry of Tourism’s 5 super priority destinations including Labuan Bajo, Mandalika, Danau Toba, Likupang, & Borobudur.

Despite our continuous success, our people are the heart of our success stories. By January 2021, we employ more than 1000+ employees which are based in 8 offices, located in six countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Canada. Connecting people means empowering a diversely inclusive working environment that enables room for Innovation and sustainable Business Performance. These organizational attributes are translated through our core values of HAPPY, which is an acronym for Hunger, Agile, People Oriented, Performance Driven, and be yourself.

Last year, our talent population grew by more than 200%, despite this growth, we managed to maintain our voluntary turnover at 6.89%, significantly lower than the market average of around 20% in start-up industry in Indonesia. We also did not conduct any mass layoff or pay cuts despite the pandemic. According to our Employee engagement survey 2021, we also scored 85% in terms of employee satisfaction and 95% employee pride score. In fact, 47.7% of our employees were hired from referral program.

CSR & Sustainable Development

As ambassadors of Indonesian culture & tourism, actively inviting and attracting millions of both International and local tourists, we also have the responsibility to preserve our natural sites. Partnering up with NGOs such as Trash Hero Indonesia and You Ocean, we hold annual employee-led CSR beach clean-up event involving all of our employees in Bali. More than 7 tons worth of inorganic waste was collected and will be recycled to re-usable goods. Similar events has been held in quarterly basis in hot tourist destinations in Indonesia to educate employees about our purpose and social commitments.
