Since its establishment in 1956, UOB Indonesia is always committed to providing quality products and excellent customer service in its vast array of digital bank, personal financial services, business banking, commercial banking, corporate banking, global markets and investment management.

We have a substantial retail customer base through a wide range of saving products, credit cards and mortgage services. Our service network comprises 41 branch offices, 107 sub-branch offices and 150 ATMs across 30 cities in 18 provinces in Indonesia.

Our digital bank, TMRW, is committed to helping customers meet their financial goals. TMRW serves Indonesia’s generation of enterprising and digital-savvy for a better digital experience through data insights and customer feedback to personalise the customer experience. In 2021, TMRW won the World’s Best Consumer Digital Banks in Asia Pacific from Global Finance.

UOB Indonesia also received Triple A Treasury, Trade, Supply Chain and Risk Management Awards based on its ability to implement the best treasury, trade finance, and risk management initiatives.

Throughout the ongoing pandemic, which started in early 2020, our focus was to ensure the well-being and welfare of our colleagues. Our initiatives encompass the following three aspects:


  • Distribution of care packs and grocery vouchers as well as complimentary Vitamin C injections;
  • Mental health support to help colleagues undergoing treatment to get through the difficult times;
  • Reimbursements for rapid or swab tests facilities;
  • Awareness of the importance of good health and hygiene and set up a ‘well-being hotline’ for colleagues to receive free consultations with certified doctors on how to improve mental and physical well-being;
  • HR hotline serving as a centre for functional coordinators to report COVID-19 cases and for colleagues to raise questions in regards to COVID-19 measures;
  • Internet and phone credit allowances to help colleagues work remotely and more effectively;
  • Transportation allowance for our colleagues who work in the office to avoid public transportation, especially during peak hours.

We empower colleagues with a series of digital bite-sized learning programmes to encourage them in adopting the right mindset, gain knowledge, and deepen skills to overcome challenges. We support and facilitate our colleagues’ professional aspirations by offering postgraduate scholarships, securing the career pipeline of our Management Associate (MA) Programme, and continuously offering job rotation opportunities.


We offer our colleagues shortened and staggered work hours as part of flexible work-time arrangements. We regularly disinfect our office premises to reduce health risks, and in early 2021, during the earlier two months of mass vaccination, 79% of our colleagues have been vaccinated.
