Kerry is the world’s leading taste and nutrition partner for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. We innovate with our customers to create great tasting products, with improved nutrition and functionality, while ensuring better impact for the planet.

We have annualized revenue in excess of €7 billion in 2020 and employ over 26,000 people globally. Founded in 1972 in Ireland, Kerry has grown organically and through a series of strategic acquisitions and has succeeded in achieving sustained profitability.

We supply over 18,000+ products to customers and our leading consumer insights, global RD&A team of 1,000+ food scientists and local manufacturing footprint in 31 countries enable us to co-create with our customers across over 150 countries.

Kerry has been present in the Asia-Pacific region since 1997. From our Regional Headquarters and Global Technology Innovation Centre based in Singapore, Kerry employs 5,000+ talented people at its manufacturing sites and sales offices in 19 countries across the region. Kerry prides itself on continuous innovation, technological creativity and business excellence in every area of the business, striving to enhance leadership positions in our consumer foods business and across global food and ingredients markets.

Indonesia is an important market for Kerry. We continuously invest in our capabilities and people in this country. In 2008, Kerry established an office and manufacturing plant in Jakarta and Cikarang. In 2020, we employed 185 people across two sites. The Jakarta office includes HR, finance and sales roles. In Cikarang, we have an office and manufacturing plant for our operations team. The Cikarang plant produces Dairy & Cheese Powder Blends, Powdered Beverages Blends, and Sauces Production for Beverages, Bakery, Savory Snacks, Desserts & Ice Cream, as well as Sauces & Dressings.

We understand our consumers want better taste, more authentic, natural and local experiences. They want enhanced nutrition for better health and overall well-being; and more convenient and affordable options to match today’s on-the-go and digital lifestyles.

At the heart of all of this is the consumer’s requirement for greater sustainability. Our customers want products that are made with cleaner labels and natural, easily recognisable ingredients. They want new, innovative products made in a socially responsible and sustainable way. They want more variety, and they want this faster – without added expense. At Kerry, we are driven to be our customers’ most valued partner, creating a world of sustainable nutrition, and will reach over 2 billion consumers with sustainable nutrition solutions by 2030.

We partner with our customers to support them in a holistic way from ideation to launch to impact. Delivering on all these aspects is what it means to be a true partner.
As a global taste and nutrition company, Kerry Group has announced earlier this year plans of investing €30 million ($36.2 million) in a manufacturing facility in Karawang, Indonesia. Kerry's greatest capital investment in Southeast Asia will be made at the new facility, which will be the company's second production site and third facility in Indonesia. The new facility will include a flavor manufacturing site, a sampling hub and a research and development pilot plant. A wide range of flavor technologies will be manufactured in Karawang, allowing the new site to support Kerry’s fast-growing taste business and its food and beverages systems across all food categories, including beverage and snacks.

The design of the new facilities includes an on-site wastewater treatment plant and meets the criteria of Kerry’s Beyond the Horizon sustainability strategy, which centers on achieving new standards in the consumption of energy and water with significantly lower CO2 emissions and no waste to landfill. Construction has started and the plant will be operational late 2022.

Along with our vision and commitment to create a world of sustainable taste and nutrition and deliver world-class products to our current and future clients, we actively recruiting people with strong expertise in Taste Technology. We also place importance on developing and empowering our people and improving their knowledge on Taste Technology through comprehensive trainings and global sharings.
During the pandemic, our team ensured that employees were kept connected and engaged with one another through different virtual activities as we were required to work remotely. Earlier this year, Kerry introduced Workplace from Facebook globally across the company, and it has given our people the ability to stay increasingly connected with one another whether it be on work-related matters or bond over interests. (Need HR Input what other things need to be emphasized)

Kerry also strives to keep our valued customers engaged by holding several insightful Webinar sessions. Through this, we can conduct virtual demonstrations and showcase our solutions and product innovations to our customers.

We also support our local communities and have defined programs to reduce our environmental footprint. Our aim is to protect the natural environment and enhance the lives of the people who create and consume our products. Kerry employees globally can take 1 day paid leave every year to support community programs of their choice. In Kerry Indonesia, we conducted various programs as part of this MyCommunity initiative. The latest activity we did was supporting the COVID-19 relief efforts by contributing N95 masks and donating milk to the recovery centers.

Kerry is committed to the highest standards of business and ethical behaviour, by fulfilling our responsibilities with our internal and external stakeholders and to embody our purpose of Inspiring Food and Nourishing Life.

As the world’s leading taste and nutrition company, we strive to produce safe, high quality products and have stringent food and product safety requirements in place across the Group. Our customers and their consumers trust that we ensure food safety throughout our supply chain from the ingredients we source, the processes we follow to the products we manufacture and distribute. We all play a part in helping ensure every process, every policy, every way of working delivers safe, quality food every day.
