Founded in 2002, Cactus Communications is a technology company accelerating scientific advancement. We collaborate with researchers, universities, publishers, academic societies, and life science organizations and aim to spread research through innovation in technology, help the scientific community reach a global audience, and create a meaningful impact on everyday life.

When the pandemic made headlines, we took prompt steps to ensure employee safety across its locations and markets. All offices were moved to a work-from-home model much before governmentimposed lockdowns. To ensure people had one official channel they could refer to for credible information, keep away from fake news and negative campaigns, and get regular tips from the organization on how they should equip themselves to deal with this crisis, a dedicated section on the office intranet was created to host all relevant information about COVID-19, updates from across the world, and the latest advisories from credible sources like the WHO and CDC. We recently conducted a vaccination drive for Cactizens, friends, and family at our headquarters.
We understand that we are living in uncertain times. To help Cactizens and their loved ones deal with anxiety and stress, we have made available a host of resources like mindfulness articles, videos, and webinars. In some locations, a counsellor is made available to employees so that they could talk to a professional if they were feeling anxious.

We have ramped up efforts to give Cactizens across locations access to learning opportunities and holistic wellbeing. We regularly host online sessions—some of them even extended to family and friends—on themes like wellness, travel, finance management, and cultural understanding. Cactizens have free access to over 10,000 courses on LinkedIn.
We frequently host Open Mic, an online platform where Cactizens can showcase their talent. In addition, we organize icebreaker calls to allow new Cactizens to interact with each other as well as meet tenured folks.

We host Quarterly and Annual Awards to recognize and applaud the impact created by individuals and teams in all functions. We typically hand out 80-90 awards across 18 categories.
